Olney Singing Studio is the youth and amateur branch of Kallan Vocals Professional Vocal Training, based in Olney and dedicated to making high-quality vocal coaching accessible to the local community.
Our Story
Olney Singing Studio was created as the community arm of Kallan Vocals professional vocal training, bringing high-quality vocal coaching to young singers and amateur performers in Olney and the surrounding area. At OSS, our mission is to support singers, actors, and voice-users of all kinds in discovering and developing their own unique voice—artistically, technically, and with mindful attention to vocal wellness.
Through personalised voice lessons, vocal health sessions, masterclasses, performance opportunities and more, we empower singers to grow as expressive, skilled, and confident artists—ready for whatever stage they step onto. Rooted in the local community, the studio aims to make professional-level training accessible while nurturing the next generation of performers.

Past clients include West End performers, professional musicians, and recording artists releasing on Spotify and hit film scores. About Bethany:
I am a professional vocalist, vocal coach and vocal massage therapist with over a decade of experience performing and recording across the UK and internationally. I trained at the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and have performed with companies including Glyndebourne Festival Opera, English National Opera, Scottish Opera, D'Oyly Carte and Iford Arts. My work has taken me to leading venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Barbican and the Southbank Centre, as well as international stages in Europe, the USA and the Middle East. Alongside live performance, I work as a session vocalist and recording artist, with credits including BBC Radio 2, RTE Lyric FM, Delphian Records and various television appearances and national advertising campaigns.
Alongside my performing career, I specialise in helping singers and professional voice users develop healthy, reliable vocal technique through coaching and vocal therapy. I am a qualified Estill Figure Proficiency practitioner and Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music in Singing Teaching, and I draw on a range of approaches including bel canto technique, SOVT and Accent Method training. I work as a vocal coach at conservatoires and drama schools and am currently Singing Technique Professor at Emil Dale Academy. My teaching experience spans private coaching, audition preparation and supporting singers at every stage of their development, from young performers preparing for conservatoire training to professionals working in the West End and touring productions. I also work as a vocal massage therapist, supporting performers and voice professionals in maintaining vocal health, recovery and sustainable performance under the demands of professional voice use.

About Hannah:
Hi my name is Hannah. I graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance from the Musical Theatre Degree with a first class honours in 2024. My musical theatre credits include 'Tattoo Girl' in 'SideShow in Concert' at the London Palladium, featured ensemble in 'Carousel in Concert' at the Royal Festival Hall as well as being in multiple shows whilst in training such as 9to5, Spring Awakening, Shrek etc. Alongside my Musical Theatre training I also run my own business as a wedding and event singer.
I have completed Estill Voice Training Levels 1 and 2, in addition to writing a dissertation focused on the comparative analysis of vocal techniques for developing voices. I have been mentored and trained by Bethany and I have a passion for helping students towards their vocal goals.
My teaching approach is to maintain healthy, reliable and confident voices. Having recently graduated, I offer a fresh outlook informed by up-to-date training and contemporary industry practices. I have several years of experience teaching one-to-one singing lessons and am excited to begin working with new voices whilst continuing to develop my skills as a vocal coach.
